For most of you it should come at no surprise when you hear that bed bugs are back and here to stay. If you haven't dealt with the problem first hand you probably have a friend in the industry who has and tells of the nightmare it was to eliminate them. Many times these stories originate from apartment managers that have dealt with this problem but as this insect spreads they are beginning to be reported in offices where an employee is transporting bed bugs from home to the office. This insect is changing the property management industry every day as their management can be difficult and the charges associated with their control can quickly drown your budget.
This presentation will cover the basic facts surrounding this insect and explain why their control is unlike any insect you have dealt with in the past. We will also review a progressive treatment program and what you should look for in your pest control vendors to make sure they are prepared to deal with this insect and are using the tools necessary for their elimination. Lastly, we will cover bed bugs in office buildings and the legal pitfalls this situation creates and control strategies you need to consider when trying to protect your employees and business.
